Plano Aquatic Center provide a variety of alternatives to suit your pool party needs:

  • Whether it be birthday celebrations
  • Or family reunions

The indoor pool is available for two-hour exclusive bookings. Renting a pool party room is an additional option that can be scheduled for when public swimming is open. When you book a party room, you can host gifts and party food in a special location, and each guest can pay for public swim entrance.

Plano Aquatic Center Events & Festivities

  • Over the year, rentals are offered for the pool.
  • Every celebration and party need to be scheduled and hosted in a certain location. Plano Aquatic Center won’t allow unregistered parties in while our business hours.
  • Organizations are welcome to use Plano Aquatic Center’s:
  • Space
  • Gifts
  • party supplies
  • Cakes, and cupcakes may only be brought in by parties that have been granted permission.

Plano Aquatic Center Camps and day care centers

  • All day care facilities or agencies (all of them referred to as “Agencies”) must register and receive approval before using a City swimming pool for leisure swimming.
  • Agencies can be unlicensed organizations or people who provide care for people under 16 in exchange for payment.

Plano Aquatic Center Memberships

  • Memberships to recreational facilities are accepted at all aquatic centers and entertainment centers owned by the City of Plano.
  • You must present identification proving your current job or residency before buying or renewing a membership.
  • It is not necessary for children under the age of two to obtain a membership.

*Annual Memberships should be paid in complete and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

**Month-to-Month: Automatic monthly withdrawals are made from your credit or debit card.

 ***A parent or guardian and any legally recognized dependents who reside in the same home.

**** Employment verification is needed before purchasing a membership.

Plano Aquatic Center Age Requirements and Behavior Code

Accompanied by: An adult child is present in the building.

Supervised: The child is always visible to the parent or guardian.

Actively supervised: The youngster always has a parent or caregiver within arm’s reach.

Plano Parks & leisure demands that all interactions between staff members and users of the leisure centers be courteous and respectful of one another.

Plano Aquatic Center Charges

Per Day Entry Charge

Ages Three and Up: $5 non-resident, $3 resident

  • Adults must produce a proper identification ID at the front counter at the moment of check in.
  • Younger children than two can attend free of charge.
  • A paid adult (16 years of age or older) must accompany children under the age of six.

A Monthly User Fee

Every age group: $29

Plano Aquatic Center Rental

  • Reservations for all rentals are possible only up to two months in advance and need full payment at the time of booking.
    Private reservations have to be requested two weeks in advance.
  • Each attendee contributes to the maximum leasing capacity.
  • For every three children below the age of seven and every twelve children aged seven and older, there must be one actively monitoring adult (16+) in the water at all times.
  • Refunds for cancellations received two weeks before the rental date will be less an administrative 10% fee.
  • If you cancel within two weeks, you won’t get your money back.
  • Every modification to a rental agreement requires approval and full payment of any increases, plus a $5 administration fee.
  • When party areas are rented, usage of the pool and center is subject to an admission cost.

Indoor Large Party Room

Fee: $170 or $250

  • It includes 40 guest’s maximum sole occupancy of the spacious indoor party room.
  • Everyone is welcome to swim, and the first 40 guests will pay entry.

  • Saturday: 1PM to 3PM 4PM to 6PM

Indoor Pool Private Rental

Fee: $235/$255

Gets you access to the indoor pool for two hours, enough for up to 150 people.

Outdoor Splash Pad

  • Private rental of an outdoor splash pad for $160 or $180
  • It includes entry and two hours of enjoyment for up to 100 persons in the outdoor splash pad.
  • During August, splash pad rentals are offered on the weekends.

Indoor Pool & Splash Pad Private Rental

Fee: $350 / $380

  • It includes two hours of entry as well as access of the outdoor splash pad and indoor pool for up to 250 guests.
  • During August, splash pad rentals are offered on the weekends.
  • Saturday: 6:30PM to 8:30PM                                                    
  • Sunday: 10:30AM to 12:30PM & 6:30PM to 8:30PM

Kindly consider that the Private Rental Rates includes exclusive access to the deck and pool. The party room is not part of the rental.

Plano Aquatic Center Indoor Pool Birthday Party

  • There are indoor pool birthday party options available at the Plano Aquatic Center.
  • The indoor pool can be rented out for two hours for special events
  • It has a space for up to 150 guests.
  • The rental costs range from 235 to 255
  • Rental cost include both pool access and entry.

Plano Aquatic Center’s Pool Facility Rules

  • Both swimmers and non-swimmers have to pay the full entry price or show a valid recreation membership from the City of Plano.
  • When leaving the facility, visitors must present identification or their membership card to get back in.
  • Children under ten require a parent or caregiver to accompany them who must be sixteen years of age or older
  • Kids under 7 need to have a person aged 16 or older within their grasp at all times
  • Three kids under the age of seven must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • When children aged 7 to 9 visit the pool in groups of twelve or more, there needs to be one adult available for every twelve youngsters.
  • Only floating equipment approved by the U.S. Coast Guard may be used.
  • There are a few free life jackets available for you to utilize.
  • Only when lap swimming is open to the public are plastic swim masks permitted.
  • At Jack Carter Pool, plastic swim masks are also permitted in the deep end.
  • Swimwear made of plastic that covers the nose and mouth is prohibited.
  • Fins such as mermaid tails, monofins, and other fins that fuse the feet together or restrict the movement of a single leg are prohibited.
  • All swimmers are required to wear swimwear suited made especially for swimming for their family, such as:
  • Neoprene
  • spandex
  • lycra,
  • nylon clothing
  • Not allowed attire:
  • Thong-style
  • Brazil
  • French-cut
  •  skimpy swimwear

  • Pants
  • You can only use swim diapers in the pool that are obtainable at the main desk for purchase.
  • It is forbidden to use foul language and profanity.
  • No playing rough, running, or acting haughty
  • Diving is only allowed in specific regions.
  • It is not allowed to back dive or flip off the edge of the pool.
  • Swimmers must avoid:
  • lane ropes
  • lifeguard stands
  • safety lines
  • Private swim instruction and outside coaching are not permitted.
  • Excessive physical affectionate behavior is not allowed.
  • At the end of the day, everything needs to be taken out of lockers.
  • Alcohol and gum are not allowed.
  • It is not permitted to use pop-up tents or free-standing umbrellas.
  • You cannot sit near one of the emergency exits, patrons.

Behavior that jeopardizes the pool’s safety and orderly operation are all grounds for suspension from the area by facility supervisors.

These behaviors may be:

  • Pool regulations violations
  • disregarding lifeguard instructions
  • harassing lifeguards or other pool staff

Serious wrongdoing will result in a call to the Police Department.

Requirements of the Texas State Code

  • If you have had diarrheal sickness in the last two weeks, avoid swimming and using the water feature.
  • The pool area is exclusively accessible to service animals, so pets are not permitted in the swimming area.
  • It is forbidden for anyone below the age of 14 to enter the pool unaccompanied by an adult.
  • Prolonged breath holding is harmful and not allowed.
  • When an infectious sickness is present, using the water feature is forbidden.
  • Water from the water components should not be consumed.
  • It is not permitted to change diapers or clothes on deck.
  • It is not permitted to have these things in or around the pool:
  • Food
  • Glassware
  • bottles

FAQs for the Indoor Swimming Pool at Plano Aquatic Center

  • What is the minimum height required to access the different attractions?

The Nemo water slide is meant for children ages 2-4.

  • Is it okay if we bring our own food and beverages in coolers?

Yes, food, drinks, and coolers are permitted. Alcohol and glassware are prohibited. When coolers are brought into the pool, officials will inspect them.

  • Is it okay if we bring alcohol?

No, drinking is not permitted in any recreation centers or swimming pools.

  • Are life jackets available?

Yes, there is a first-come, first-served policy regarding life jacket availability. You may carry a life jacket of your own, but it has to be US Coast Guard authorized.

  • Can my kid wear flotation devices?

Only floating equipment approved by the US Coast Guard may be used. No baby inflatable rafts or water wings are permitted. These types of flotation devices are prohibited.

  • Are concessions sold by you?

In case you want to buy a drink or a snack, we have vending machines.

  • Are masks, snorkels, fins, and goggles allowed?

It’s okay to wear goggles. In the lap pool, masks, snorkels, and fins are permitted.

  • Is it okay to use diapers in the pool?

Only swim diapers are permitted. Purchases of swim diapers can be made at the front desk.

  • Can we bring rafts, noodles, and other pool toys?

During open swim, you can use soft balls similar to Nerf and dive toys in the leisure pools. Rafts and swim noodles are prohibited. Only flotation devices authorized by the US Coast Guard may be used.

Warnings

  • Please pick up your child at least fifteen minutes before the facility closes in order to guarantee their safety and sense of security.
  • Unattended youngsters are not the responsibility of the staff.
  • If parents are unresponsive and children are left alone for thirty minutes after closing, Parks and Recreation officials may contact law enforcement.
  • Children who, after closing risk suspension, are frequently left alone for longer than fifteen minutes.
  • Those who want to swim laps nonstop to stay in shape can use the available lanes.
  • Every swimmer needs to be competent to swim consistently and show that they understand proper lap swimming technique.
  • The pool officials will ask swimmers who are unable to comply to exit the lap lane.
